BELL PEPPER


 Bell Pepper is the fruits of plantsin the Grossum group of thd spices. The fruits has different colors such as red, yellow, orange, green, white, purple. Bell pepper are botanical fruits but culinary vegetable. It can be used in salad, toppings on pizza. It also used in the paprika. 

It does not produced capsaicin, a chemical that can cause a strong burning sensatio , they are not spicy. It is loaded in nutrition, carbohydrates, vitamin c, vitamin b6,

The Old and New FOOD Groups

Cut The FAT

Excess fat in foods is probably the most damaging component. Reducing the fat we eat is essential. Butter, margarine, cooking and salad oils, meats, cheeses, eggs and whole milk all must be limited.

The Old Four FOOD  Groups

Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans and peas, eggs and nuts
Dairy product such as milk, cheese and yogurt
Grains
Fruits and Vegetables

The New Four FOOD  Groups

Trans fat  
 formed when oils are partially hydrogenated to make them spreadable like margarine or shortening. It can raise blood cholesterol levels about as much as saturated fat.

Saturated fat
  they raised cholesterol level in the blood, increasing the risk of heart disease and colon, prostate cancers.

Fat free foods
  high in calories, especially from sugar

Meat and cheeses
  very calorie dense foods they have no fiber

Olestra
  this fat can cause diarrhea and snare important fat soluble vitamins and drag them out of the body.

BLUE RICE

 Were using Blue Ternate Flower in making Blue Rice. 

Just like the way of cooking rice  put the flower in a pot waitl till done and there you go..


 You can use dried flower or the fresh one.

Ihanda ang bagoong alamang

taba ng baboy

sibuyas

bawang

sili,

suka

msg o konting  vetsin

mantika

achuete

Igisa ang baboy hanggang lumabas ang mantika

Itabi ang laman, igisa ang bawang sibuyas

ilagay ang bagoong alamang

hayaang magisa ng  ilang minuto

ilagay ang suka at hayaang kumulo  hanggang maluto

ilagay mainit na tubig sa achuete at ng makuha ang kulay

ilagay sa bagoong, ilagay ang sili , asucal, at vetsin panimpla

kayaang kumulo hanggang mawala ang sabaw ayon sa inyong gusto

ilagay ang itinabi na laman ng baboy
